Whoa! Back in the 70’s my Dad and half siblings had a home on the cliff above looking down thru picture windows directly onto Shelter Cove! As the fog banks and the sunlight moved in and out changed places made for some really spectacular vistas

I grew up in Pacifica. I moved to Idaho in 2007. I get homesick for walks on the beach from time to time. Watching your videos is very relaxing and enjoyable. When I was a kid, there was a two lane road on Pedro Point leading to Shelter Cove. My Dad and I loved to ride our bike out there and admire the view. The beach was private so I've never been down to it. Thank you for your work.

You probably knew my Dad. He grew up in Pacifica. He was born in 1946. He had two brothers and two half brothers. He was a great fisherman and got a nice write up in the newspaper when he caught a steelhead out if the creek. He said the valley used to be called San Pedro Valley. Too bad it was changed.

I lived up Crespi Drive just pass the elementary school and used to come here a lot to see and feel the magic. A great sax player lived down there. Dave was always a gentle and special spirit. Excellent job, no jerky movements, subtle yet a comforting speed to engage this special area. Thanks ! !

I grew up in shelter cove. Thanks for the awesome video. I'll never forget all the adventures I had down there in the 80s. Me and my dad built a BBQ pit out of stones we found on the beach next to our place, the place on the very end. A guy named Mr telegan used to own the place. Sadly, I think he died in a hunting accident :/

Was told the beach is private property and the stair access from Kent rd to Shelter Cove trail is private property. ;( I really want to fish there.

You could walk the shoreline. I've seen people do it.

All California beaches are public, it's been that way for 40 years. The property owners have to let you have access to the beach .
