A great film. I lived a life caring for nature and achieved a BSc in environmental Science. I empathise with the movies message and am saddened that our most beautiful features are now threatened. I am not optimistic about the future. Too few people seem to care and they are not in positions to make a difference. I am 73 yo and thankful that I lived in a time when the beauty has been there for me to enjoy. I am sad for those who follow😢

Thanks to all of you for being a part of this and releasing it for free. As a full time organic farmer, and part time snowboarder, it makes me realize again some of the ways that I give myself a pass because I tend to think I'm generally engaged in a positive lifestyle. Very well done and truly does make me reflect on the changes I can make to be a better part of the solution.

beautiful video. It awakens longing again, especially longing for the mountains. Unfortunately I will probably never be able to ski again, high alpine tours ? we have to see. Unfortunately, I've been on high alpine tours, hard bike tours, I broke my knee, it blew away the cartilage in my knee, through too many falls. I get really jealous and jealous when I see you like this. Keep it up and take care of your knees, can cause big problems when you get older. I know what I am talking about.

Thank you for freely posting a video with such beautiful scenery and haunting music. This looks and sounds awesome on my desktop with dual 22" monitors and a 150W speaker system. But, I find it amusing that Jeremy flies from Boulder, Colorado, USA, to France to appear in a video preaching about carbon footprint. When he quits flying around the world for his skiing hobby, I might consider selling my Challenger SRT Hellcat. But, then again, my Hellcat runs on corn. So, who's the bigger environmental steward and who owns the snowboard manufacturing facility who flies around the world on vacation?
@WGRF2 жыл бұрын
Jesus you couldn't comment without bragging could you?
@2200Z2 жыл бұрын
@@WGRF The point is that Jeremy - who preaches about other people's carbon footprints - has a manufacturing facility whose paint booth alone probably emits more harmful gases into the atmosphere than my 800 bhp muscle car. Which runs on ethanol and is only driven about 4,000 miles per year. Hypocrites like Jeremy Jones, John Kerry and Al Gore frequently blast tons of shit into the atmosphere with their trips around the globe on private jets and by-products emanating from their factories, etc., yet castigate average folks for their piddly use of fossil fuels. These clowns do as they please, but you and I are those deemed to clean up our acts. It reminds me of a mountain climber who had climbed Everest and had produced a movie of the climb. He had the audacity to complain about the amount of trash that had accumulated on the mountainside. I don't know about you, but I don't have $60,000 laying around to blow on a trip to Nepal. Do you? There's a shit-ton of trash on the mountainside because of him and other climbers. Not because of you or me. He should buy a pallet of trash bags and get to it. Think about it. If Jeremy really cared that much about the air that you breathe, he'd ride his mountain bike up to Palisades Tahoe and be content with those local trails. Instead of gallivanting around the globe on airplanes. They don't get to tell me to buy an electric car, but continue to fly all over the world on vacations. They're not very good leaders and stewards of organizations - such as Protect Our Winters - if they're not willing to personally set the example. I think it's time that society quit holding these disingenuous, hypocritical knuckleheads in such high esteem.
