I grew up in this era. Church at 10, services at 11. And you go out to the gym or lawn. Where tables of food were piled on. Grab a plate and drink . At 3-10 it was great 1956- 66

For me it was sunday school, then service started at 11 and usually ended around 1. After that it was food and refreshments
