Loved everything y'all had to say. Really appreciate you bringing something so important to me to light 🤘🏼

I connected to this song before seeing the music video and knowing the deeper meaning behind it. I rescued a senior pitbull in 2020 named Tyson when he was 7 years old and I was in my early twenties. I interpreted this song from the perspective of Tyson saving my life in a way. I went through a bad breakup after rescuing him, lost my grandfather unexpectedly, got laid off… but he gave me purpose through it all and kept me going. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. I remember listening to this song with him and being so afraid of the day I would have to say goodbye. I knew our time together would be short, but I’ll never regret securing a senior dog. He deserved to be loved and changed my life for the better. Unfortunately, cancer took him from me sooner than I expected and Tyson crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this year in June. In his final moments, I held him close and played this song while I sang the words to him. Thank you for making this song 🙏

@@ChaseRiceMusic your welcome, your songs I know are telling a story about you, so why do I connect so deeply to point I'll see something in your video not going into detail because of all fake accounts but to many to be just coincidence. One I was told to show you so you knew I was telling you the truth.

😥 The meaning was deep. In the end he came for the dog when his job was done. The dog was as much for them as it was for him. They can help you get through grief. I told my dad i would take his dog when he passed. My mom wanted to keep him. She needed him even though she wasn't a dog person. She was alone. Mom and buddy still together, she's a dog person now.🥰🙏❤️🤍💙

I have this feeling that Gator was laying on the floor next to y'all ❤ even though he died , he did create, save, and make a difference in 3 other lives. Even a broken person can do good things and have value.

He needed the dog to keep going...in the end he still succumbed to his demons but relied on the dog to keep his family safe. The end shows him coming back and saying thanks for doing that. The dog hadn't died also, just stayed true to what was important to him

Seen Chase Perform this song Live Earlier in the year and told us why he wrote this song. It’s for his Best Friend who was going to commit Suicide 😢 and he couldn’t because of his Dog came and put his head in his lap!!! I don’t think there was a dry eye in that building that night!!!

I had uncle Seth. We're in Korea.I have brothers who were in Vietnam. They all struggled with their demons their whole lives
