I’m having issues punishing the d1 and d3 it feels like I’m too far away to punish her even when I set it up as close on trining room. I use raiden btw

yeah pokes are def not built the same, and if your poke is stubby, or theirs pushes back too far then you might just be out of luck check if raiden has a fast special (8f or faster) if not then fast mid to take youre turn back (not a punish) if he doesn't have THAT then you might be stuck resorting to reversal throw or backdash -> slow button

do you have any tips for beginners on how to react faster when punishing an opponent? , i struggle reacting when punishing with kenshi 141 string, i react too slow understanding if i get blocked or i punished successfully. it's like i gotta guess

hmm nothing comes to mind. thats just a practice/familiarity thing obviously it helps once you know what to expect and maybe even anticipate that youre going to get a punish you could study the animation and identify the frame you should be reacting to, but thats hardly a "beginner" tip

Do the combo punishment in practice over and over. Do it 10 times in a row. Then switch sides and do it again. Its just about relaxing it has to be muscle memory

some things may be character specific but MOST of this stuff should be universal if something is -8 on block, then everyone should be able to punish with their 7f s1 (assuming they have a 7f s1) it is ultimately up to you to practice these anyways and make sure whatever button youre using is fast enough and will reach

@@indecentjestertm ashrah gets punished for everything once you learn her frame data li mei on the other hand has so many broken strings that can't be punished especially if she runs cameo kung lao. lmao kenshi is even more broken than li mei. johnny is top 1 character while kenshi is the second one. with ashrah you need to read your opponent and use your neutral game precisely.
