Xbox fanboys thinking the Xbox is like the Dreamcast. Please. Sega actually had multiple IPs and franchises, from the wacky to the more serious, from single player to multiplayer. Xbox has never had the light hearted games Sega was known for. And they sure as hell don't care about having multiple IPs that consist of single player games. They just care about the brodude gamer. Weird, as I doubt it sell well on Xbox. Xbox gamers tend to not be into Japanese games. Even more so when there's only single player. I expect it to sell terribly on there.

DeathgGod Technically, yes. Yu Suzuki got the rights from Sega and is developing it on his own. But, I don't see why they couldn't come to some kind of agreement on how to do it. I mean, I doubt Sega didn't tell him about the HD versions so they are likely in some form of contact. IDK, just an idea.

This makes me so happy! This was rumored for months and months... finally 1 &2 got an updated release on retail disc! #ShenmueSsaved I wanted to play Shenmue 1 for such a long time! Especially since my love for the Yakuza series grow so much. But I could never effort a PAL Dreamcast & the game or did never commit to it. I remember when I saw Shenmue on TV back in the days... I wish I could have played it when it had it's initial release. I would love to have this this guide to help me start.

This is probably the most underrated game ever made. Yes, there are fans like myself and the people who will be interested in this video that know just how amazing this game is, and how radically ahead of its time it was, but now a new generation of players as well as veterans can hopefully appreciate it once more. There are open world games being made today, nearly 20 years on, that still don't have anywhere near the interaction and depth that this game does. It only took around 15 years of limbo, and teasing of the series possibly continuing on the original XBOX, but I really appreciate SEGA finally breathing life back into this series again!

20 years have past since the first Shenmue came out !! I am so happy, i am honest, if you asked me 5 years ago about Shenmue 3 and 1&2 HD i would just cry.... i said that it was almost impossible. I still have both the original Shenmue 1 & 2 in storage... Been a long time fan since the 1st original Shenmue was released in 1999 for Sega Dreamcast... Then purchased Shenmue 2 a couple years later for Xbox in 2001... Still waiting on the 3rd release... It's been 17 years... And I hope Yu Sazuki really releases part 3 at the end of this year... Been so many delays over the years of it's release... Anyway, thanks for sharing this great video☺
