Shenoys theatre reopened after 5 years | ഇത് പൊളിച്ചു 🔥🔥

ഏഷ്യയിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ വിസ്താര പ്രൊജക്ഷൻ നും 6 ട്രാക്ക് stereophonic സൗണ്ടോട് കുടിയും 1200 പേർക്ക് ഒരേസമയം ഇരുന്ന് സിനിമ കാണാൻ കഴിയുന്ന ഷേണായ്സ് തീയേറ്റർ 1969 ൽ ആണ് ആരംഭിച്ചത്. ഈ സിനിമ അത്ഭുതം കാണാൻ കേരളക്കരയിലെ അങ്ങോളമിങ്ങോളമുള്ള സിനിമ പ്രേമികൾ വരുമായിരുന്നു അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഏത് ഷോയും 50 മുതൽ 100 ദിവസം വരെ ഹൗസ് ഫുൾ പോകാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു ഷേണായിസിൽ. കൊച്ചിയിൽ ഒരുപാട് മൾട്ടിപ്ലക്സുകൾ വന്നപ്പോഴും പഴയ ഗാംഭീര്യത്തോടെ നിന്ന ഷേണായ്‌സ് 2015 ൽ ആണ് renovation വേണ്ടി അടച്ചത്. ആറു വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം 2021 ഫെബ്രുവരി 12ന് എല്ലാ ആധുനിക സൗകര്യങ്ങളോടുകൂടി 5 സ്ക്രീനിൽ 754 സീറ്റുകളുടെ തലയെടുപ്പോടെ പ്രവർത്തനമാരംഭിക്കുകയാണ്.

I am a telugu person.. And I heard the market of malayalam cinema is very low. Then how come the theatre owners daring to upgrade the single screens in to multiplex's there? Did really exhibitors & distributors ready to bare the rents & taxes ? Already here in telugu cinema facing lot of rental issues with multiplex's.

Screen is the backbone of a theatre and it should be big and wide to bring the audience to theatre. There is no point to coming to a theatre when its projected screen is small and short, especially when projectors are available to project on home plain wall.
