I’m going to Shenzhen in a few weeks for an international conference at the conference place you mentioned! I will be staying in town, I’m so excited because I think I saw the hotel already . I’m so nervous it will be my first time in China, I speak 3 languages but no mandarin. I’m trying to familiarise myself with the area! Shenzhen still feels like a village, as the buildings are not integrated, there are lots of empty spaces, unlike Hong Kong or Ho Chi Minh City. A bit disappointed with the Shenzhen city government.
