It's nice how these companies allow their workers to take off from the Spring celebration to visit their families. Thank you for sharing

It is actually a government holiday. Any company that did not allow the workers this annual break would not have employees for long! However, some very nice companies do in fact give their laborers and manufacturing staff even longer holidays in appreciation of their dedicated work!

This also happens in Hsinchu city and Zhubei city in Taiwan. I am a local in Hsinchu, and I love this kind of ghost town, because the traffic isn't so busy during the Chinese New Year.

The Chinese everywhere has the tradition to celebrate the Chinese Reunion Dinner at the parent's homes whc are usually in the countrysides. It is a yearly phenomenon in Malaysia and affected Singapore too for as many as up to 1 in 3 Sporeans have connection with Malaysia even if the have become citizens here. Their roots are in Malaysia. Many have come here to work and settle down.

Years ago when the transportation was not as convenient as today, people took a day or even longer to reach home. Nowadays, HSR cover nearly all parts of China and many take only a few hours to get home and celebrate CNY with the family. This is China, where the convenience and comfort of the people are the main priority.

Serpentza was not allowed to renew his work permit cos the Chinese authority discovered his tainted background. He was making pretty neutral videos on China, but after he left, he started all those misinfo and dysinfo nonsense. Many suspect he got paid by the CIA. He has a sidekick in Laowhy86 who has his own channel dishing out similar anti China and anti Chinese nonsense.

Same in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur - and also in Spore to a lesser extent as the Malaysians and Sporeans of Malaysian descent return to their hometowns. In fact Spore plated cars can be found in the most remote part of the plantation estates and parked in those houses. U know they have the connection with Spore ie residency as new citizen or PR.

Hi Sirant, we will be coming to Shenzhen in April and was wandering if you know where we can experience the driverless taxi, driverless buses and trains as well as drone food delivery services in Shenzhen. Would be good to see the byd Yangwang U9 in the flesh as well. These are on our bucket list atm and do let me know if there are any other technological Marvel for us to explore. Thanks in advance.
@sirant
@sirant 5 күн бұрын
Honestly, I spend most of my time (as you can see in the video) in the most Low Tech area of Shenzhen! I would say that areas Like Shenzhen Bay and Oh Bay are your best bet as they are super High Tech areas and are worth seeing on their own! Whereas there are some driverless busses available in those specific areas now, the driverless taxis are not. They are scheduled to be on the road and in service by the end of 2025. There are nifty little driverless delivery trucks though. Most of the drone food delivery will be in tourist areas only at this point, where traditional electric motorcycle traffic is not permitted. As for the supercar, well, there were only 88 of them made last year, so it is not like you can walk into a dealership and check it out in person sadly. From what I have heard they are currently made to order only. So other than randomly coming across one on the streets or at an auto show, not likely to find one yet.

A ghost town with more than 2 million people living there and 80-90% of the property being sold. It actually looks like a very nice place to live even now!
