I agree ! I would buy your cookbook and also buy one for each of my sisters/ sisters-in-law. I have made many of your mexican dishes when they come over for dinner and they were a big hit everytime. You should also start an apron business. Aprons with your signature on the left hand corner "Rachel cooks with love" .

Looks so good. By the way, speaking as a very old lady.....Shepard pie was made from leftover Sundays roast, gravy, veg and mashed potato. Using ground meat ofcourse is wonderful but it was made from leftovers originally.

I have made hundreds of cottage pies over the years but never a shepherd’s pie! I have watched between 40 and 50 recipes tonight so far! Thankfully I have now come across yours! By far the best! I saw where you lived in Ohio and now are in Texas. I was raised in Ohio but moved to Virginia in 1986. We love it here. The weather, especially the winters, are so much better. Appears Very Delicious and a must try recipe. Thank you. Before baking the pie, suggest brushing beaten egg on the surface > sprinkle some breadcrumbs > and some melted butter on top of the crumbs. It Results in a tasty and crisp coating.

I've made several of your recipes Rachel, and they've all ben delicious. I made this Shepherds Pie last night for dinner, even though its summertime. My mom and I both enjoyed it. I used gold potatoes 🥔 because it's what I had, also because IMO they make the best mashed potatoes 🥔. I held back the salt bcuz my mom has a ❤ condition but I increased and adjusted the other seasonings to compensate and it came out great. Keeping it for future dinners.

I've been making this since I was 13 yrs old, im 58 now, my Dad taught me this recipe its almost exactly like yours, I usually skip the egg and just put meat mixture on top mashed potatoes but going to try it your way it looks Amazing!
