So my son did a research project on the Apache Indian named Geronimo. He was running away from being captured by the US Army and literally jumped off a cliff while screaming his name. He survived the jump into the water and he became a legend! That’s the reason soldiers yell Geronimo as they jump out of planes! We played this song for his project and it has become a family favorite. He got an A and had the whole class cheering! Geronimo-what a cool guy!

Fun Fact: The Spanish were hunting an Apache who they couldn’t catch. Every time they thought they had this man pinned into a corner, he’d slip through the cracks. I was sitting beside an active Runway in Anchorage, Alaska, this was playing on the radio at the perfect timing.
