I like the parkrun fencepost at the start! (6:02) It looked like a really pretty park to run in as well :)

Oh wow you’ve got good eyes to notice that! I didn’t even see it when I ran it 😂. Yes a beautiful park with great scenery, did you manage to get to Parkrun last week? 😄

@@Sheppey10 I did, I was at Millwater parkrun for their 10th anniversary! It broke their all time attendance record with 469 runners. This week I'm doing the first timers welcome for the first time at Northern Pathway parkrun, a little nervous for that but looking forward to giving it a go 🙂

Oh nice I remember you saying you were going to hopefully do that one! Great that it was a record attendance 😄 469 is a busy parkrun! Good luck with the briefing, I’m sure you will do great 😄 The more you do, the easier it will get! 🤞🏼

Thanks mate for the comment! Glad you enjoyed 😄 Do you do parkruns?

I haven’t actually, but am training for a marathon so will do one every now and then to measure how my training is going. Shepton Mallet is the one nearest me, so this and your Old Showfield vids were super helpful, thanks!

Yeah I always think Parkrun is a good way to measure how your fitness is doing. Like the challenge of having people in front of me too to push me along. Good luck with your marathon, you’ll have to let me know how you get on 😄 I’m glad the vids could help! 😄 some great ones to have as a local.

@@Sheppey10 Thanks, will do! Any plans to do a block of training to try to get sub-20?
@Sheppey1021 күн бұрын
Not yet for sub 20 but the plan is to get to further distances. I injured myself and was out for a month due to trying to get too fast a time. So I’m wary now of injuring myself again as I didn’t enjoy the time off! 😄 Instead I’m going to work towards running a 10k and get some races under the belt, then move into speeding up my times and moving towards half marathon distances 👍 I think times will naturally decrease too as I run more frequently 😊
