i once told a classmate (and he's pretty smart and not devoutly religious or anything) that i didnt have a religion and he couldnt comprehend that. i couldnt comprehend that he had a hard time comprehending. my point is that religion has had a huge impact on people in the sense that it makes them more close minded to things. my experience was a very minor, but i think, significant example.

If parents took that attitude towards children, then I wouldn't have a problem at all. The problem is, children who don't accept their parents indoctrination are abused until they accept it. Parents rarely leave the choice to accept a religion up to their children; they indoctrinate until the child is forced into accepting it as a defense mechanism. There's a reason you can't just teach these things to adults and have them immediately accept them. You have to be raised and abused into it.

Think about it - one group insists on the existance of a higher power. The other group insists on the lack of a higher power. Bravo.. I know about the 99 and rappers Native Deen, certainly about Fulla cause it is all over the market (together with Barbi products). Always thought of them as fields pioneered of western people that my people used to what suites them. never found any trouble in doing that and I found a way to admire the works of others (the West).
