Sheriff Carmine Marceno Announces: Six people face charges after county-wide drug bust

In 24 hours, The Lee County Sheriff's Office, with the assistance of the ATF, conducted three residential search warrants at the homes of several drug dealers operating within Lee County. The months-long investigations into these drug dealers revealed the illegal sales, trafficking, and possession of drugs and guns. The two-day operation resulted in the seizure of the following:
Fentanyl: 4.2 grams
Methamphetamines: 9.22 grams
Cocaine: 36.8 grams
Marijuana: 70.5 grams
Numerous controlled substances
Miscellaneous drug paraphernalia
Multiple cooking devices used to manufacture crack cocaine.
Two firearms and ammunition
$14,800 in U.S. currency - seized for forfeiture
Those arrested included: Leann Chambers (DOB 10/23/68), Calvin Hawkins (DOB 12/15/57), Tommi Chambers (DOB 6/2/88), Harold Baird (DOB 5/11/1963), and Antiowan Wiwo (DOB 9/22/82).
WANTED: Jacob Preston Darna (DOB 6/23/84)
“My message hasn’t changed - if you push poison on our streets, there's only one place for you," stated Sheriff Carmine Marceno, "and that's jail."
