Hi Pam, Is this a good attachment for helping me craft my 1:24 scale auto parts like a Oil Tank or NOS Tank as an example?? Thanks~Lee

Hi Lee, Sorry for the delayed response. Pam says the attachment will work for the size and parts you want to make. Keep making chips.

I like the spontaneous math moment... If you cut a relief on the back end of the radius can you continue to cut a sphere shape on the end of the part? It seems like there might not be a lot of room to go over the top.

Yes, you can cut a sphere. That process is covered in the written instructions. sherline.com/Wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/2200inst.pdf

Is it possible to cut an concave feature on the OD of the material?
@SherlineProducts3 жыл бұрын
I'm not certain I understand your question. The Radius Cutting Attachment is for adding a convex or concave feature on the end of a part. If you want to take away material on the OD of the part, you can use any number of tool posts to hold your cutter of choice.
