Only Donavan and Anderson in the police hate Sherlock. Lestrade is very fond of him, he and the rest of Scotland Yard finds him extremely exasperating but admire him for his intellect and help. The scene between Sherlock and Moriarty drinking tea is probably the most British way to do a confrontation of a hero and a villain.

The part when Sherlock is lying about doing reserch on John to impress him is one of my favorite moments. Totally gives up his ego to protect the people he loves. I wish it could have been in the video, but i get that its hard to edit like 80 minutes of content into 10 mins, so Great Job to the editors!

@@mahfuzurchowdhury2765 Steven Moffat actually used real fan theories in the beginning of the next episode. And everything Anderson says after Sherlock explains how he did it is a diet hilarious meta commentary on the way the internet would react no matter how it was revealed to have been done.

Fun fact this is how Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wanted the character of Sherlock to end with a final confrontation with Moriarty, I think to show how Sherlock following his addiction to solve crimes ended up being his downFALL. A great metaphor to show the power of addiction and its tragic end if not acted up early or at least I think. Anyways people couldn't get enough of Sherlock so Conan Doyle brought it back.

I didnt really get why Lestrade and Donnavan would genuienly think Sherlock was behind every case hed solved. But upon revisiting the thought: Youre a part of the police force and some guy keeps popping up and solving cases you and your men cant solve even though you are the one who was educated on how to do it. You dont get how but he keeps doing it. Suspicion would definetly set it at some point. The kids kidnapping case was perfect for them to go 'I knew something was up'
@blackandbluemadness79656 жыл бұрын
slendernesia this is more motivated by jealousy than anything else. I like how they showed Anderson's downfall in season 3. I wouldve liked to see Donovan get what was coming to.her too however, I still despise her with all my heart.

The third explanation, which Sherlock gives, is the true account. Moffat said that the real version has been revealed (in the first episode, third series). The little clues sprinkled throughout the s2 finale make it more than apparent.

There's one thing I hate more than anything and that's people being accused of stuff they didn't do.. I was constantly pissed off during this episode yet it still didn't fail to make me laugh! Sherlock has become a top 5 fav character for my, same with show, easily top 5. Benedict Cumberbatch is incredible. As is Andrew Scott.. loved Moriarty 😅
