As an older sibling, I can't begin to tell you how true this is. 😂 Oh well, that's what being an older sibling can be about. I remember when my father found my brothers weed for like the 10th time and came to me about it. I didn't even hesitate to tell him it was mine and to let my brother off the hook. The thing about being an older sibling is that you get to realize that if you actually care about your brother or sister protecting them just comes naturally. And it's always worth it.

All I can think of is when I was probably around 9, and my older brother convinced me to peak at our Christmas presents with him when our parents were out.. Christmas morning, opening presents, I apparently didn't have the right reaction to the one present of mine that I peaked at.. My mom looks me in the eyes and "You peaked didn't you?" In my moment of complete panic I proceed to blurt out "IT WAS NICK'S IDEA!" Our oldest brother thought it was hilarious😂

@@umka2002 Yeah, Mycroft displays sentiment and Sherlock, if not resents it, at least is surprised by it. Similarly, when Sherlock displays sentiment, like when he talks about Mycroft making friends, or when talking about Mary/John/Rosie, Mycroft either goes "Change the subject, NOW!" or taunts Sherlock for being too sentimental. That's exactly what I said, they are sentimental about each other, but would resent the other displaying any of it. :) I didn't say they resent sentiment, nope, it's quite the opposite. But they resent the other displaying sentiment for them, because that is like breaking the sibling code - an unsaid rule to always be bickering about. 😂
