It’s a well established fact that Mycroft (Sherlock’s brother) is **much** smarter than Sherlock, to the point where he solves mysteries long before Sherlock does. The difference between the two is that Mycroft is much lazier than Sherlock is and requires Sherlock to do “leg work” (i.e. tracking down the culprits and catching them).

I absolutely loved how Simza kept helping Holmes fight that guy and he kept being surprised. I wouldn’t mind seeing her character back and working with them in some way in the next movie. She’s the kind of female character I’d ship Holmes with (Adler setting and leaving 3 guys on holmes to try to kill him was so gross). Though Holmes was never romantically interested in Adler anyway.
