Sherlock: "Cup of tea!" Really love the way they put this episode together. Each scene switch seemed to complete the previous one, it was brilliant. And the twist was so unexpcted for us!! Looking forward where is it going in the next episode (last one of sesaon 4 😥).

Holy crap. I never knew anyone who spotted that the therapist was the woman who visited Sherlock. I was waiting to see if you would figure out she was Sherlock's sister. So glad you didn't. This was a great episode. Can't believe we will only have one more.

I remember how I cried when John was confessing to Mary in his imagination. And the Sherlock's look tho... omg! He realized... and then just gave a hug to his friend. I love this scene so much.

Mysteries are her stuff so I got warned 😂and part of the fun is to see if she is right or not, but yeah the show is so well written that we are always surprise no matter how the guesses are accurate 😅

"There is a difference into looking away and looking to" Rob: "Yep, she's a good." Trin: "She's a good therapist." Me: Oh, if only you both knew. But when Trin noticed how 'the daughter' reminded her of Watson's therapist I was: oh, Trin is really good. And then later she saw an assistant of Culverton as maybe also the therapist I was: oh, Trin, thank goodness, you're not perfect. Another very entertainable reaction from the both of you! When I first watched it, when Mycroft said in an earlier episode to Lady Smallwood: "you know what happened to the other one" there was the hint of the possibility of a secret brother but not sure, as you never are with Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss their writing, but boy do they know the works of A.C. Doyle by heart. When we noticed the word 'Sherringford' written down, rumours of the secret brother got wild. Sherringford Holmes is one of the names A.C. Doyle considered for the detective, before setteling with Sherlock Holmes. For me, Sherlock started on a high note and kept building up every season on the shear luck of having great writers, amazing actors, phenomenal cinematography, ... you know, everything that you need to make a quality series, even when knowing to say stop and say, this will do. They did everything perfectly and that keeps us yearning for more. Hence why we watch 'react to' vids, it comes the closest as to 'relive that same feeling of watching it for the first time' so thank you both for that. And yes, Toby Jones, what an amazing actor, you recognized him from 'Jurrasic World', he also is known for voicing Dobby in Harry Potter. Last year he was filming next to Harrison Ford for the new Indiana Jones film, my favorite role of him is that of Lance in 'the detectorists', a very nice role in a very sweet show about ... wait Trin, I'm sure Rob can guess this too. Gosh, I can't wait for next week!!!

This episode is a masterpiece. To me the most shocking reveal was that the woman from the bus was also her, Sherlock's sister. She was trying to get to him even before Mary's death. What a long term plan. Don't worry, last episode is amazing just like the whole show.

I kinda felt for John in the big reveal at the end. He cheated on Mary with this woman, and caused himself massive guilt, self reproach and caused him to lash out at his closest friend...only to find out the girl he risked everything for wasn't even just a regular woman who was attracted to him. He was just a pawn to her. I wonder if that causes John to put dating on the back burners for a long long time after.

so yeah this one of my favorite episodes (the other one is scandal in belgravia) trin has really good instincts! when I first watched this, I thought the woman in the bus and the therapist looked similar, but I didn't think anything out of it. the reveal that she was also the one in the apartment was the one that surprised me! it's such a great episode. can't wait for your opinion on the last one. :))

If you rewatch this episode, you'll find that the first scene of this episode is quite similar to the last scene (the gun shot). It's all connected and well-woven, with amazing film editings (Nerdwriter once had a video talking about this, unfortunately it was removed by KZbin).

oh yess this episode really is one of the bests of the show I really love it. The acting from everyone was so on point! Absolutely brilliant🙏🏻 no wonder they’ve got so many nominations and awards for it. And even tho Trin guessed parts of it I always love to see people be shocked at the end of this episode during the reveal😂ahh you can imagine how I felt when I finished that episode for the first time around 2AM🌝🤯 so sad we’re almost at the end tho😓 I as well really recommend you to watch The Imitation Game and some of Martins work as well🙏🏻 next to The Hobbit the first season of the show Fargo has Martin in it as well and it’s such a good show too! Quite morbid but verrryy good😊

Just noticed something. If you watch the first Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes movie, there is a scene were Holmes is waiting for Watson and Mary to join him for dinner. He does a scan of the room and notices EVERYthing. Later, when he's dancing, he says that he can't STOP deducting and it's a curse. And here Sherlock says the same thing to Faith. She asks how can he do his deductions. He replies, "It just sort of ... happens. Like a reflex." Then very quietly he adds, "...can't stop it." Poor Sherlock.

Also in the Hobbit you get a reunion of Sherlock and John... Martin as Bilbo and Cumberbatch as (at least the voice of) Smaug... ;)

I remember when i saw the 4th season for the firts time with my family, and when i saw the therapist i tell them: "wait, isnt that the same actresss who was in the last episode? you know, the woman from the bus" and they was like: no, i dont think so." and later was there the fake blonde haired lady and i was again like: "what the f**k? its the same actress again." Nobody believe me until the end of this episode. I think it's because what Eurus said "people don't usually look at your face". :D But i am glad that i am not the only one who notice that, because none of my friends who watched this show noticed. But for me was more than obvious.

I have just discovered You Two. Your reactions are one of the best I've seen. Very thoughtful and insightful discussions. Apart from the fact that Trin seems to be some kind of psychic witch ;) you are both very perceptive. I bet you have a long list of shows to watch. I think you mentioned you have unfortunately seen Breaking Bad (which would be my top pick). Other ones I would recommend are Better Call Saul (where the writing is on par or even exceeds Breaking Bad and also The Boys which is just simply great to react to and has so much more depth than just a "superhero" show. Keep doing what you're doing because you're good at it. Cheers.
