Sherlock the Labrador has completed his two week residential training stay. Sherlock works in a school with his older brother, therefore it’s important that he can follow cues reliably and is a good member of staff!
Sherlock now has more food impulse control so he won’t be trying to steal the student lunches anymore! He also has a much more reliable settle cue to stay on his bed in different situations including around other dogs as he would get distracted and want to play with his brother!
We worked on all of Sherlocks general obedience and improved its reliability around distractions and in busier locations. He can complete sit, down, middle and emergency stop too. Sherlock can lead walk reliably in busy places past other dogs and people too.
We have worked on calmer greetings with Sherlock and being calmer in general around people where he isn’t always expecting a greeting.
Well done Sherlock!
