I think it's good to balance the glamour of nomad life with the real struggles of choosing to live and travel this way. Not gonna lie - the decision fatigue is what's kept me from going out these last few years as I've journeyed through chronic illness. In the end, I miss being out in nature and the peace that I used to experience while camping. I'm still doing van life next year. It'll just be part-time and will look very different to how I'd envisioned it before the health struggles. I'm believing that I'll experience some additional growth through the tougher bits!

Omg yes! I make KZbin videos in a similar spirit as you and before moving to a tiny home in the remote west, we lived on the road with our two cats and THIS video is so spot on. I’ve also wanted to make a video just like this because the more real about our experience the better. The romanticisation of road life in general makes people so unprepared for what it’s really like and I think does a disservice to the community as a whole. Thank you for sharing this kindred spirit friend! ❤

The road life builds character. It also shows you how strong you are and how much you can endure. I think this lifestyle makes people appreciate some of the things that come so easy for us like water, electricity, and heat. Thanks for sharing. The nomad life is awesome. ~Ricky

As Joseph Campbell said “If you do follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.” Good review of nomad life. Lovely images and solid production. Thanks for sharing.

I think vanlife must be very hard.... but a WHOLE lot better than being homeless.

Thank you partly because I feel somewhat validated in my annoyance with some channels constant attempts to inspire me. In the process they minimize or completely leave out the sucks moments. And honestly, I am glad some at least seem to enjoy producing videos of nomadic life. But it isn’t for me.

Thank you for that beautiful summary, summation of your last few years! I also thank you for sharing about the Bluetti once again! My husband and I are looking for a solar generator and I appreciate all you have done to show me how it’s done!

I just couldn't make it work full time on the road. It is no slight to people who manage to but for me it didnt work out at the time. I wish some people who not get so defensive about getting off of the road. I found it hard to be productive. I still would like to go on the road for a time in the future, but holding a full time job in a vehicle isn't the most simple thing in the world.

Do you think if you had kept your truck and camper you would be in this position right now, or do you think your life would have continued easier and more likely to have stayed on the road fulltime when you knew you had a more reliable setup and similar home, Instead of the previous vehicles you tried to buy during school?

So many of the same mishaps, decisions etc .. that are needed to be made no matter where you live. You just had the opportunity to change your surroundings with all of this, rather than be stuck in the same place same "routine". And I am the BEST at putting off until tomorrow 😂🤣 Life is what we make of it. No matter where we are. Hope you are doing well 😁

Life, however we live it, is a journey - and we should take that journey so at the end of our life we can look back knowing that it was well lived with no regrets. At the very least, we know we tried.

I don’t ordinarily criticize the content creators I watch, but lately your videos feel like they are only being made as a placeholder for your brand partnership with Bluetti. I get this is your job, but no one is consuming KZbin for the ads. I was excited to see this video because the intro felt like it took a lot of effort, but the content felt superficial and once again like a long commercial for yet another power station.

Have you thought for a second that without her sponsorship that maybe she wouldn’t be able to put food on the table or keep her lights on. She has stated several times in past videos that this is her full time job. I’m positive that she herself doesn’t love putting ads in her videos, but unfortunately KZbin is an incredibly unstable way to make money without a sponsorship. Not to mention she has lost an immense amount of views since quitting life on the road, so I imagine she is going through quite a lot and trying to figure it all out. We are all entitled to our own opinion though. And mine is that she deserves some grace while clearly trying her best to still put out content and make an income at the same time. I personally thought her editing on this video was top notch and loved the story. I do wish the video were longer but imo she still did a great job. Let’s lift people up instead of tearing them down. Have a nice day! ✌️

Why do native English speakes have difficulties saying "Bluetti" and say "blue'etti" instead? It's simply "blue", like the colour, with "tti" added.
