Been watching Sherpa videos pretty much all day. Been crying pretty much non-stop since he passed away. Hard to pick just one video as a favorite. But, his last trip to the seashore with Jamie really stuck with me. Jamie went scuba diving (although he called it a swim--in a wet suit no less). 😂 And Sherpa could no longer go down to the water. But, Sherpa did sit on the hilltop and was calmly looking out over the sea. Jamie took the pic from behind him. Sherpy always loved the beach and the water. But, this time, all he could do was sit and watch the sea from that hilltop. I had a feeling in my heart and gut that told me he was nearing his end. I was so hoping my intuition was wrong. But, unfortunately it turned out to be right. Wind blowing through his fur as he gazed out over the water to the horizon beyond. 😢 Rest well our beautiful Sherpa. RIP . ❤️🐾 --Paula in Ohio USA

Key and Sherpa are so funny together. I love it when Sherpa wants to fight with him. Sherpa is getting old and runs out of steam now earlier than he'd like to which you can tell. It's obvious that Sherpa would like to be able to play more with his best friend but he just doesn't have it in him too, the poor old fella.

So I commented on the video yesterday that it was 1am Friday eastern time and I was sending positive vibes for Sherpa's surgery. It wasn't until 15 hours later @ 6pm eastern time that I realized it was actually Thursday and Sherpa hadn't had his surgery 🤣🤣🤣. Seriously I think I was just trying to get through and beyond it quickly that I somehow lost total reality lol. As of this post...it is indeed 1:08am eastern time (USA) on Friday, May 6 and I am once again sending positive vibes, steady hands for the vet and quick and complete healing for Sherpa. Jamie, again I'm sending you strength & hugs as well as the positive vibes. I'm sure you will get through this surgery better than the last, because you have experienced it and some of the unknown is known. So I'm hoping for less anxious waiting for you, but I understand that when our baby is in a situation we have no control over, we all will have nervous anxiety. Just remember we are all here with you and Sherpa, sending good energy in whatever form and can't wait to see Sherpa recover quickly, thoroughly and see him acting half his age. Normally I'll have some days with a little forgetfulness or fibro fog (brain fogginess due to fibromyalgia) but this was a first for me to get almost through the whole day thinking it was a different day, and on top of it... publicly posting for all the world to see 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Oh well, as long as we can laugh at ourselves, not take things so seriously and have gratitude for our lives, family & friends it is a good day, whatever day it actually is!!! 😂 I'm hoping we'll hear from you soon and can't wait to see the holiday videos during Sherpa's healing. Please give Sherpa some wonderful belly rubs and lots of love from me! And Sherpa, make sure to snuggle with Dad Jamie and relax together afterwards. Just enjoy being together!!!
