Hello. Just to reassure, Jamie does say Sherpa is strapped in at the start of the film. And if you notice Sherpa is wearing a strap across his chest in the moving shots. You are quite correct Jamie needs to be very careful to do this every trip. You must have been devastated. Sorry for you loss.

...oh yes...agree totally...yrs ago one of our doggos jumped out of the small window in our truck canopy...lucky for her we were just comin off hwy on an offramp & not movin...i jumped straight out & lucky for me she came straight to me...its always a danger with some dogs cus you hust never know when they might do that...we dont take our doggos in the truck now unless they are secure in the backseat...a more expensive truck with an extended cabbis well worth it for their safety🤔😉😁💖🐕🐺🐼🐈💖

Yes, even the sweeties will surprise you. Years ago my “sweetest dog on earth” golden went out the passenger window of my SUV. Thank God she had a breakaway collar. Years ago the attachments to the seat belt were nonexistent. I had rigged something..that failed. We had just left the vets, we turned around and went back. Thank God she was fine..scared the living daylights out of me! No more front seat, always belted..always break away collars. Our fur babies require every bit as much care and concern as the human ones..! Jaime is always on it. He’s exhibit A for “great fur baby dad”!

LOVE IT! We did this with our pup on our first ride in a convertible. It was a beautiful cool Spring day, but after 15 minutes, we turned around to see our pup was close to heat stroke because there was no shade in the back seat. Sure scared us! Just an FYI.
