how lucky was I that Shaun actually worked for me back in early 90's; I knew what a powerful signer he was; but not history of his career; loved you then Shaun and so glad to have come across all these wonderful videos to hear your voice..thank you for allowing me to be your friend

Elvis loved Sherrill (Shaun) Nielsens voice, and they performed songs like "Aubrey", "Softly, As I leave you", "Spanish Eyes", and of course, "O Sole Mio/It`s Now Or Never", among others. Usually in Las Vegas, and it was Elvis` father, Vernon, who suggested they do "Softly...." on stage, after hearing Elvis/Sherrill kidding around with the song in the dressingroom. The song became a showstopper in Elvis` Vegas-show, with Elvis reciting the lyrics.

Agora descobri o noem deste cantor que canta com Elvis Presley, no início de It's Now or Never, foi lendo o livro escrito por Linda Thompson: Minha Pequena Coisa Chamada Vida, ali ela conta de um grupo de Backing Vocal, chamado Sherrill Nielsen & Voice, que já tinha participado de show dele. Elvis fez o funeral da avó de Linda Thompson, convidou o grupo de backing Vocal para cantar na cerimônia do funeral. Eu sou Samuel, moro em Sõa Paulo, zona leste de São Paulo, no Brasil. My Lord where does he get that range. As a singing coach and 40 years in the industry, people must know to have such a range to lower the range and reach those higher keys is talent, amazing RIP.

24 yo young guy here his voice is beautiful, anyone who think his voice worse not even can sing like him...RIP Shaun, Elvis, JD, Scotty, Bill , Red West.
