Its obvious they've never dealt with death before. Gonna be a tough pill to swallow when they do. She was driving home late from work and got hit by a tractor trailer. Was it her fault? Well, everytime you get behind the wheel you take on that risk, so I'm not sure what you're even asking, Charles.

What's up with all the negativity in this comment section? There are ways to ask questions without disrespect, and unnecessary slander isn't welcome on this channel or in the Martial Arts community in general. I appreciate that. I assume it's younger folks who haven't dealt with death yet, or they've never been taught basic manners. Definitely feels like a kick in the mouth when I share a video celebrating her life and giving much of the information shared at the seminar away for free, though. Tempted to shut the entire channel down for good, though, not gonna lie. It's becoming more and more rare to receive any appreciation for the content I share. Times and people are changing. Not sure I want to share combat advice with this generation of slobs.

Hi Shane. I know it's tough dealing with a loss of a friend. And also with the comments here being negative from stupid people. Just want to share with you, for every negative remark and disrespectful comment, there are 10x more people who appreciate your work and everything you do. You have an impact to so much more people here with what you do as a coach and content creator. Just focus on those people. It's not worth shutting down the whole channel just for the few people who don't know how to show respect. We always look forward to what you do next, and I guarantee you the few people here who are disrespectful are not your real followers.

At what age are men in their prime/peak in street fighting/combat sports? Are men strongest and best aged 19? Do men decline in strength and speed in their 30's?
@sbot8158
@sbot8158 Жыл бұрын
I'd say 28-32 range, usually peak of fitness as they've had at least a decade to build their physique while also building a lot of experience.

@sbot8158 What if a guy aged 31 to 38 has never trained throughout his life?
@yasu7494
@yasu7494 Жыл бұрын
@@maxpaws3977 If we are talking about all time peak performance for an athlete; I would agree that the 25/35 age range is prime time. If we are talking about personal performance for an average man(no physical activity), I would say that 15/25 age range has the best ratio of natural power, speed and agility (if you're healthy); the 25/35 age range is the most impactful period since it's the last time frame when you can start a change and still reach near your peak in those 3 categories. I would say that after 40, you can still become a beast but it would take more work ethic, I'm not talking roids but things like injury prevention and recovery should be a priority if you want to do this for a long time. Also past a certain age it's really hard to keep a nice ratio. Peaking for average people is really subjective, it depends on too much factors, as opposed to a young athlete who is already doing all the right things to be at peak performance at every step of his growth. Also, your mental might as well be as important as your body condition if you expect to reach your peak. Ask yourself, was I eating good during my growth, was I injury free, is my diet now good, kids to care about, do i walk a lot, stairs or elevator, do you work a corpo jod behind a desk or are you lifting motor parts in a garage for the last 10 years, because if it's the case you had some kind of physical activity. You see all these things have an impact on an average man. I was at my "peak" 17/23yo (basketball), studied sports science, got injured and depressed. Now I'm 30, back in sports since 1 year, and I can tell I'm gonna be better than before but not for long if I choose basketball, I just don't see myself dunking "safely" after the 40's; but if i choose boxing/mma I can be a beast for longer since I have no desire to compete and have done a lot of martial arts before. Long story short, don't think about peaking if you're not an athlete, just do it because in most cases you will surpass your expectations of yourself. ;)

@@maxpaws3977 It's never too late to start. You still have plenty energy and can build a great physique even within those years. Unless you're very talented Success at MMA will be more difficult but no reason not to go train anyway.I'd say the decline in strength/speed really starts to show past 36.
