AHA, you've given me a great idea. I don't like my heavy bag. It's getting a bit soft on the top half as the filling settles. But I think I can wrap a body protector around the heavy bag as you have wrapped around your Century Bob. I think the straps will be long enough. Thanks for the idea.

I lost my last fight. Lost a super close decision but even tho it was close I thought I could’ve won that night and fought very poorly compared to what I’m capable of. I think it’s cause I went for the ko from the start. Went for all power so I was tense and one dimensional compared to being loose and versatile. I think this will do wonders for my issue thank you

I was taught in Muay Thai that this “handcuff punching” was a bad idea because you leave your head open during a punch and that your hand should be back by your head when you let the next punch go

You won't go the whole fight with that though. So it's a risk you take whenever you want to throw it.

As silly as this may sound but it’s an honest question - up to certain point you have to abandon your fundamentals in order to increase hand speed/getting rid of the telegraph right!? 👀🤔
@myname-mz3lo2 жыл бұрын
when they say stay loose they mean every muscle except the ones that are part of the kinetic chain ... the leg and hip and arm are still under tension ... relaxing the other muscles help gain speed but keep the kinetic chain tense because you dont wanna sacrifice power

Thank you very useful tips. You said to activate your lates on the end of the punch, so I tried to punch slowly and I noticed that I tend to activate my delts and traps, that results to an ascent of my shoulder. So I understood that at the end of the punch it is better to have a descent of your shoulder by activating your lats am I right ? Thank you again :)
