Excellent video. Thank you. In our new build, we have an open dining room, kitchen, and living room. We have Alabaster Kitchen cabinets , so I am considering using Alabaster (or Greek villa which is the outside paint) on the walls, trim, and coffered ceiling. We'll have stained beams in the entry way and dining room to match the floor and mantle on the stone fireplace. This is the toughest decision for me to make, but I think I have finally landed on the right color in Alabaster after considering so many greige colors. Thank you for all your comparisons.

Thank you. You explain everything so clearly. I have been debating on what paint to use for all over house. I am leaning now to using alabaster with pure white trimmings/baseboards. I have a West facing house that is very dark in the morning. Dark hallways as well. Thank you for covering so much of my question. You're very knowledgeable!

This was a fantastic review and explanation of the Alabaster color....and I've looked at a lot. I'm almost sure this is the color we will use in our modern farmhouse build happening right now. In your opinion, would this color work out with white kitchen cabinets and stainless appliances? I think I'll take your advice and do the trim and ceilings in this color. Doors will be white with black finishes. Thanks in advance for your feedback and advice!

Great video! Thank you for all the info you are helping me make my hard decision on my new home, whole house paint color. Really leaning towards using Alabaster for the walls, trim and ceiling with different finishes. What color do you suggest I paint the doors? And should the trim around the door be Alabaster or the same color as the door?

Thanks! For the doors - you can either go with SW Accessible Beige or even SW Anew Gray :) the trim around the door should be same as the door color

So may I ask what wall color will go with cool gray wood stain floors? I was actually thinking of alabaster bc of the gray in it. This is for a beach home. I have to decide this week.floors are stained minwax classic gray we purchased this home with these floors .. I hate them bc of finding a wall color .TIA

Alabaster wouldn’t be my suggestion to go with cool gray wood stain floors. You can try SW Pure White, SW Extra White or SW Snowbound.

Hi Thanks for a very detailed video. This helps me decide. Can you plz suggest if gng with Alabaster for Walls and High reflective white for trim, ceiling, crown mouldings and kitchen cabinets (with granite white/gray textured counter top and stainless steel appliances) works well or any other suggestions? Also we have a wall separating living room and dinning/kitchen with ways around the separation wall on both sides. Is it okay to go with alabaster for that as well? Plz advise

Yes the combination of alabaster walls and High reflective white on trims and mouldings are good to go - if you like a sense of contrast. For the separation wall - why not try an accent?

SW Aesthetic White definitely has a touch of pink undertone! You can use the color with gray floors as far as the undertones of the paint color don’t clash with your existing architectural elements.
