Just picked up the encrypt one and I love it so far.

That's great to hear! Sherwood did one heck of a job this year with their Code family. Brandon at IW Hockey

7:18 Dan is absolutely right here. Big max blade paddles add a ton of weight to the stick versus a thinner pattern like a P88 or P14. A 64” shaft can also easily weigh 15-25 g more than a 60” shaft. And a stiffer flex will also always weigh more since additional material is required to increase the shaft’s flex. The key is having a stick with a nice balance point. I would gladly take a 400 g stick that feels good in the hands over a 375 g stick that feels a bit wonky in the blade.

100%, actual weight and perceived weight especially in the context of game player are two drastically different things. Chase at IW Hockey

I've got an encrypt 2 last week, Put it on the scale , 68flex p28 and got 415gram. Still feel light because how well the weight is balanced

It is pretty wild how well Sherwood did at EACH price point this year! How are you liking the 2? Chase at IW Hockey

@@ice.warehouse i've tried it yesterday on my synthetic ice, and i am pleased sor far. The only minus point that i have is that i should have take an int 65 flex cuz i do not have the best technique/strenght to flex my stick

Got my encrypt 2 last week and was surprise by the weight, for the third price point in the line it compare to the second price point of other brand ( curve and similar flex)

Yep, they absolutely crushed it this year at all of the price points! Chase at IW Hockey

Will be ordering a Encrypt 1 to try here soon, was a big fan of the TMP 1 then switched to the Rekker but have a itch to give this new line up a try. Loving the Encrypt 1 gloves as well!

Is there a P88 curve available for this stick in intermediate? Absolutely loved the TMP Pro.

Noticed on a website that there is no pp26 option, is that curve discontinued now? what is next next option for me pp92 or pp90?
@ice.warehouse5 ай бұрын
You'll want to go with the PP92, it is very similar to the PP26. Chase at IW Hockey

Prolly not, as a pure shooter he'll want to stick with the low kick point on the rekker legend

What is the kick point
@ice.warehouse5 ай бұрын
It's a hybrid kick point that's great at all types of shots, making it perfect for the versatile player who likes to do it all from quick in-tight shots to heavy shots from the perimeter! Chase at IW Hockey

Did they do anything to increase durability of the blade? Loved my TMP1 but the blade broke quickly. Have been enjoying the Legend 1 and the blade is holding up much better, but it's on it's way out. Im trying to decide if I'll stick with Rekker or try the Code line again. How avout stiffness? I had a 75 in the TMP but dropped to 68 in Rekker. Is the flex on the Encrypt in line with the TMP?
@ice.warehouse5 ай бұрын
Yes and yes to your questions! They call it a "refined blade profile" but it is more reinforced than the TMP Line.. of which, I was a real big fan of and these Encrypts play right on par with the flex ratings of the TMP. Chase at IW Hockey

Is there a p29/92 and not just p28 in youth and junior ?
@ice.warehouse5 ай бұрын
The Junior models will be offered in both the PP92 and PP28! The youth sticks will only have PP28 still. Brandon at IW Hockey

Is the shaft a little less square bc I didn’t like the feeling in my heads of how square it was. Other than that it was an awesome stick
@ice.warehouse5 ай бұрын
It's definitely not old-school, square corners but it has slightly rounded corners for a solid blend of modern square.. if that makes sense. Chase at IW Hockey
