I think Sheryl didn't share the whole story behind Detours record. This is a record about cancer surviving, motherhood, very public break up. Very important work of her. It's also about her anti war attitude in Iraq. In 2008 she was totally against it, before the rest of the Americans. But the president, and most of the society, wasn't. Here she and others brave like Dixie Chicks heard comments „Shut up and sing!”. It was very political album for that time and also beacuse of that it didn't sell so well. But it's brilliant. And now in 2023 the one thing Sheryl does not share a lot. Highlighting the Russian invasion on Ukraine. Brandi Carlile was supportive from the first days of war. Sheryl didn't comment on that yet. I really hope she will
