She has had an enduring career going back nearly 30 years in the spotlight. She has hits in multiple genres/categories and has written songs for other superstars including Celine Dion and Stevie Nicks. She was also inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year. I’d say she has been noticed and is doing just fine!

I think it was 1993 when I met Sheryl Crow for an interview in Cologne, Germany, where she was playing at the Luxor club. I was at journalism school and her first album Tuesday Night Music Club had just been released. There were not many people, mostly record company guys. But her songs were just beautiful. And she had that lovely, kind, free-spirited, warm-hearted, easy going and down to earth personality, while we had a beer together. No arrogance at all. What I love about her? After all her success she still seems to be that good hearted person today. She's so not fucked up, and that's a great thing these days, isn't it? ❤

You are very lucky indeed to have had that interaction with such an awesome artist. I’ve been a fan since the 90’s. Listening to my bunk mate playing his own rendition of her music. Just saw her open up for PINK! Always been a fan of Police as a kid and hopefully I get a chance to listen and watch Sting live as Sheryl Crow.
