Okay, I'm gonna say something as a black woman about a black woman. Sheryl Swoopes was NEVER a pretty person. Her lying, hateful statements about Caitlin Clsrk has made her very ugly, inside and out. She can't open her mouth without making EVERYTHING about race. Some black people are doing the very thing that was done to them for years. It is ugly. Swoopes is the epitome of the saying in the Bible that jealousy is as cruel as the grave.

If I may disagree with you. I’m a 75 year old , born in 1949 a white male who has lived thru the 1960’s . Now that Caitlin has left the WNBA, I'll stop watching WNBA. I'll bet I'm not alone either. WNBA has serious problems that have to do with race and sexuality.

Thank goodness, I am Native American and no matter what race we are, blatant racism is not okay. Swoopes has destroyed her own career and the ugliness she has been displaying is disgusting. Time for WNBA to clean out the ranks from top to bottom and set a positive example of what professional sport should be for little boys girls women and men. People of all races who are fans are sick and tired of the division the nonsense spewing from a grown woman who blames everything in the world on a 22 yr old rookie who has brought nothing but pure professionalism, team play, amazing skill and a positive outlook on all those around her. If I never hear swoopes again it won’t be soon enough. She is irresponsible, the poorest example of sportsmanship and not one ounce of professionalism. Good riddance to her!

Caitlin Clark is the first WNBA player who plays basketball like a on NBA player. Far and away the best passer the league has ever seen. If she had the strength, weight and quickness of a 6 foot male player, her ball skills and shooting would see her in the NBA. NO OTHER WNBA PLAYER IS THAT GOOD. The only reasons a black WNBA player would not want to play with her is because they are either racist or afraid of being shown up. Magic used to teach his teammates (in practice, mostly) how to pay attention by hitting them in the back of the head with passes. Maybe Caitlin should start doing that. She’s nomPete Maravich, but she does pass like Bob Cousy, who has long been regarded as the standard setter in NBA history.
