I got into female ball when UConn had a strong team but never cared for or thought about wnba. Until Clark arrived this year. I don’t know this “swoops” lady nor her records so I could care less. I do know Clark burst onto the scene and brought a shit ton of viewers like myself. And through all this, all I see are haters and clingers. Clark, who has dominated the stats the whole season, was only given an HONORABLE MENTION. She's not even listed on the primary MVP list for the season. The WBNA is in vocal agreement with Swoops' bias and while they may have had to let Sheryl go due to her comments, they're still right there with her in spirit.

Facts: Black athletes male/female excel in any sports like basketball. They're highly skilled individuals but for a white athletes male/female is an extra ordinary skills not known to any or it's NOT a gimme skills that they can excel. For this topic, CC is an excellent player coming from small town in Iowa, who broke all time D1 records male/female is an achievement. With this accomplishments, she created a generational fans across the country to watch her sold out home/away games when she's in college. This impact was carried to Wnba when she was drafted. I'm from NJ and I followed NY Liberty for the last 3 years but home/away games were not sold out unless they're in the playoffs. In addition, when Caitlin is home/away, all games were sold out. Her fans traveled across state border or from other cities just to watch her play it's like a family affairs w/ parents, children and grandparents enjoying every bit of her game wearing her jersey Iowa and Indiana Fever. Anyone who doesn't acknowledge Caitlin Clark's prowess is just a pure "ENVY" the best to describe...she's a great "INTANGIBLE ASSET'' to the WNBA...

However as a new fan to the WNBA, it gives pause to whether this is a club with too much drama. Since we have a leader (CC) who masterfully shows us all how to manage that negativity, we are all better off. We can still see the bias within the refs and announcers. Good points, but unless I missed something in this video, it is yet another clickbait title that seems to be the norm in every story surrounding this controversy. Swoops didn't get fired, as I understand it, yet everybody says so. She got pulled off one broadcast. In essence, it was like how the producers pulled "Morning Joe" off the air the day after a certain candidate got shot, because they just knew those two media hacks couldn't be trusted. Dozens of videos popped up from those of a certain political bent, celebrating their removal from the airwaves. But the next day, they were back on TV, and mad about being pulled. I'm sure that though these two situations are totally different and unrelated, the results will be the same in my opinion. Swoops will probably hate Clark even more after this, because she was at the center of an embarrassment for her, and Joe and Mika probably hate that political candidate even more, for the same reason.

No offense, but I always laugh when somebody says "WNBA legend." A legend to whom? To the tiny number of people that have actually been watching women's basketball over the last 50 years (especially when Sheryl Swoopes was playing)? Before Caitlin Clark the WNBA never sold out arenas, even when playing in venues with 4,000 seats or less. Before this year TV ratings were always in the dumpster. The league was so unpopular it's lost double-digit millions in every single year of its existence. Without NBA welfare it would closed its doors 25 years ago, joining every other failed women's pro basketball league on the scrap heap. Swoopes may be a "legend" to the tiny percentage of the population that actually watches the women's game, but I guarantee you there are countless millions of people -- even some younger WNBA followers -- who never heard of Swoops until she started dissing Clark.
