Thank you for turning me onto heirloom chrysanthemums and Bluestone Perennials . I started with 4 two years ago and added 4 more this year. The two year old plants are covered with gorgeous blooms and the new ones are also blooming. Deer did a little browsing on one plant a few nights ago but deer and rabbits have mostly left them alone. I was always ho hum about the usual garden mums but these are a whole different plant and I love them. I've used cayenne pepper to keep squirrels from digging in my beds and containers and it does seem to work. I think it also repels deer and rabbits. I've also started mixing it with seed in my bird feeders. The birds don't mind it but it keeps the chipmunks and squirrels away.

Oh my goodness. Thank you for telling us about heirloom mums. I got some from King's Mums this year, and I am IN LOVE with them. Also, thanks for all the effort you put into your videos. I've learned so much from you!

I know what you’re talking about when you mention Armadillos 😮😮..they like to dig through my flower beds..your garden has been so gorgeous but it is definitely time for it to rest.. I live in Florida and fighting Armadillos comes with the territory ❤❤

The urns look good. Willow tree grand. My garden mums are beautiful and full. 😢 Wow you have lots of backyard plants. I have to deal with critters too, even though most of my yard is fenced. Oh well.

Reapply chyanne pepper when ruins. I'm using fine chicken wire borders sticking up with sharp edges toward top. Also Repels has worked for me better than chyanne pepper..

I found my sweet spots for vinca this summer as well. I’m going to try my own from seed this spring with some of the Tattoo series from Swallowtail Seeds. Love that leopard plant! I’ve never seen one before but I think I have a spot for one!

Spray sealant on your birdhouse gourds when they turn brown so they don't go mushy outside in fall decorations

I’m dying to try your double cascade petunias! Do you think they’d do well in the ground?

How are the armadillos getting in? I thought your yard was fenced in. We had a problem a few years ago and hired a trapper to trap and take them away. It was successful!

I have rabbits and birds that destroy my plants. I am growing from seeds and my problem is I don't start them early enough. I think when you replant your snapdragon seeds I will start some more also. This way I have an idea of my success compared to yours. My seedlings grow so slowly. I would love to follow your maintenance! I am in the low AZ desert zone 9b.

I hope you find a way to get rid of that animal. I feel your pain. A trap to catch it in.
