Shetland ponies who are best friends will eat together, sleep together and enjoy each other’s company. When they are apart the yearn to be together again and may call out (or whinny) to their best friend.
Shetland Pony “Besties”
At Shetland Pony Club, Crème Brulee and Honeybee have the greatest and longest lasting friendship. They are devoted to each other and will happily spend every day in each other’s company.
Another special friendship exists between Sundance and Nottingham. When one was poorly, the other stayed with him in the stable as his companion - what a kind friend.
