Excellent parents!👏 Look at all the responsibility they’re teaching her. She’s learning to love and care for another living entity. Doing the “yucky” stuff, the chores, that go along with all the lovely, fun, stuff…. We get to enjoy one because of the other. Makes me miss the pony Uncle Allen got me when I was 6. Had him at a friend farm but I had to clean stalls for his keep. That was nothing for all the fun we had together. Pony rides are awesome! Lucky lol girl for sure!

That's the dream childhood, especially for a little girl. 💕🥰🐴 Don't know what it is with girls and ponies but it's true. She's not only got a best pal, but she has one who (assuming it's not much older than her), should grow up alongside her, maybe even seeing her down the aisle and possibly meeting the next generation (that's the big advantage of horse & pony over dogs - generally speaking). That would be such a wonderful thing to happen! And she's learning about having responsibilities - though I have to admit she looks like she's well and truly learnt that lesson. Smart kid! In the meantime, they are a delight to watch together 💞 It takes me back a little over 50 years and my first riding lessons. I had a year on a Shetland pony called Matthew (you never forget! He wasn't mine, sadly, he belonged to the school). He absolutely would _never_ have stood to have his feet painted with glitter! He'd have made his displeasure known to everyone within a 5 mile radius! 🤣🤣🤣 Those were the days, eh?

@@denniseldridge2936 Lol! I know how you feel!.....When I was a kid back in the 70s, my older sister used to ride regularly at a stable in the Hudson/St Lazare area of Quebec, Canada. She had all of the Thelwell books...They were so funny - typical British humor - and I must've read them dozens if not hundreds of times. Watching this sweet kid with her pony brought a lot of those memories back (now in my late 50s - this does feel like ages ago!)....

Living the dream ❤ I grew up having my own ponies and loved every minute with them! I remember when I was 4 years old and my sister left for school in the morning I'd take my jump rope and lead my pony Trixie to the gate and climb up the gate to get on my pony with the jump rope around her neck. She would then walk over to the closest tree to rub me off. We would repeat this over & over all morning till my mom would make me stop. 😊 This is one of my favorite memories along with many growing up with our ponies and I'm 61 years old now. ❤🐴❤🐴❤🐴❤🐴❤🐴
