I don´t know what to say. One side, it´s the cutest thing I´ve ever seen. On the other side, when a pony falls and the little rider too, or maybe even a whole accident, it´s dangerous for both. And especially for the kids, I mean their bones are in development. :(

@kropcia1122 it is no different then every single barrel racer you see. it doesn't hurt the horse. if it did, the horse would buck or act out.

eep some people were kicking the shetlands way to hard. for what i have learned, from experience mostly, is the if you kick them hard like that, it can hurt their sides really bad. poor ponies

It takes quite a lot of horsemanship skills to control ponies. They really have minds of their own, are very intelligent, and can be very naughty. That's why they're special!

@lozndsoph no maximum weight but if ur too heavy the pony will not b fast enough to race. There is a height limit of 5'1"

shetlands are exceptionally strong for their size. Carrying a child of that size is really not a problem for it.
