The beauty is you can choose what you want to experience. If you dont like chaos just go to another side of the city and it will be a completely different india. These guys were in delhi. Just move to south delhi and everything is different .

If you want to explore the coastal areas , the beaches which we have a lot, then 1.Andaman and Nicobar Islands are my first choice.(very Safe for women) 2.Kerala very beautiful back waters and clean beaches.(very safe for women) 3.Goa the hipster state of India.(very safe for women) 4.Karnataka with very beautiful beaches (their beaches literally glow at night).(moderately safe) .. If you want to see snow ... With clean environment.. and peaceful surrounding Then these are the best states 1.Himachal Pradesh (my home state also known as Abode of Snow)(very safe for women) 2.Uttarakhand(very safe for women) 3.Ladakh(Very safe for women) 4.J&K(moderately safe) 5.Arunachal Pradesh (the land of Rising sun.. it's heavenly)(safe for women) 6.Sikkim (the Bhutan of India.. this is the most eco friendly state in India) (The safest) .... If you want to see historical sites Then State of Madhya Pradesh in Central India is the best place Its largest city Indore is the cleanest city in India.. it has a very mesmerizing temples , Shrines , Palaces ...and one more interesting fact about Madhya Pradesh it has the largest forest area in India With a rich variety of wildlife you'll find many safaris here it's like the South Africa of India.(Watching tigers is must),(Unsafe at some places) .. India is my favourite country to travel. It gets crazy intense on all levels and all ways at some point in your journey, at least in my own personal experience. I've spent a year and a half there in total. I def recommend a longer stay as you really do get used to the culture and enjoy it more and more. Happy Travels

if you visit India make sure to avoid Delhi. plenty of negatives. haven't seen many foreigner like Delhi. most of Indians don't like Delhi. Delhi is less than 0.03% of India by area. so you have whole of India to see even you avoid Delhi.

I would go to India but only if I had a travel partner. 1000 Rupees is only $12.20USD, which seems a very good price for the nice cricket shirt. india has huge variety of food. in every 50 km food changes. whenever you visit a restaurant you can ask for special Thali of that state you are in. in thali you will get most popular food items of that state. a thali can be both veg and non veg type you have to mention which one you want. this is how you can taste more food item at once . most flavourful food are in Kerala known for its beefs and fishes for veg Chennai is the place Hyderabad has the best non-veg items Kolkata is the sweet hub of India for delicious snacks it is Gujarat Mumbai is the street food capital of India please visit North East India for best pork for Delhi Belly the city with the similar name is the place.
