Well yes, but actually no. Musashi has two "fake" cuts. Imagination Slash - Much like baki's imagination creatures Musashi can force an opponent to visualize his own imagination. Imagination slashes can be unnerving but they don't seem to leave any lasting effects and the effects are localized to whomever he is tormenting. Imaginary blade - Musashi slashes with an imaginary sword, unlike an imagination slash the imaginary sword can be seen by onlookers and it's cut while not physically damaging can be physically felt even disregarding the victims awareness of reality. Musashi has to make a motion to activate this slash unlike an imagination slash which can be activated from a still position. Both of them seem to require a certain proximity to be effective. Shibikawa got hit with both here, first an imagination slash then cut with an imaginary blade. Imagination slashes are scary but you can shrug them off, even old tokugawa simply berated musashi for imagination slashing his neck.

I'm surprised the baki manga mention the restorer of daito ryu aiki jujutsu Takeda Sokaku I actually have respect him also takeda sensei also trained the founder of the korean martial art Hapkido choi Yong sool. Without aiki jujutsu there wouldn't be no Hapkido.😊
