Is Eclipse viable with bruiser build or only assassin? It seems good with Shield Bash

Eclipse fucks on vi, you can still build eclipse into sundered

Yes it is viable, but since the nerfs to Eclipse and buffs to Vi's passive she does have better items atm. I think Eclipse is a good 3rd - 5th item, if you are playing vs tanky comps with low damage. Right now Sundered Sky - Black Cleaver - Steraks - Trinity Force is simply better items. And then you usually want Resistances.

Depends on the situation. I might be that I just tried to do it too quickly, that happens. But a reason to do it with Sundered Sky is that your E damage also crits and the blast damage also crits. So with Sundered Sky you sometimes want to Q-E to get a big burst on multiple people or if that all the damage you needed. You can also cast E early and it will start charging a new one so that you can have the 3rd Q a little earlier.
