I have been hardstuck emerald since it came out I legit hit emerald this split 90% wr and then instantly first game once I hit it got ran down and it's just every single game i'm getting ran down I don't know what riot wants me to do how am I supposed to climb when by 15 minutes I have 3/4 members down 2k+ gold every game I think it must be a divine punishment for not being good enough to hit diamond pre season 13 so riot decided to kill me in the streets

If you dont deserve emerald you should easily win bot lane meaning u dont need worry about two people on ur team usually inting since ur botlane. Then u can roam to win top or mid. Sure you can do same on jg but alas bot can still run it down before u can get online

Just carry harder, emerald isnt even nearly as bad as it was when emerald first released. When emerald first released, it was previous golds and plats playing against diamonds and masters. every game was coin flip. I was a platinum 3 player the previous season but ended up d3 70% wr. Climbed out shitlow emerald by just muting chat and taking all gold for myself from teamates to carry. I was 75% while in emerald gaining +15, losing -30 and still climbed its not that bad

I thought Toplane is the most broken role in the game, but I was wrong, apparently its at least the most broken role in Emerald. That game looked like 2 raidbosses fighting 1v4 and whoever kills the raidboss first wins the fights. WW was suprisingly tankier and dealt way less damage then his opposing toplaner but that was enough to 1v9 the game. Somehow the Jhin, even tho he had 17 or so kills kit like a wet noodle compared to his overleveled midlaner. I havent watched the second game yet, but if i had to guess its a battle of high impact toplaners again.

I think the issue with emerald is that the players are good enough to the point where a single player can't win without their teams help. Like in silver you can just split push and win every game since they don't understand how to win, or just play draven. In emerald you actually need a team but all of the players have massive ego and are looking for any excuse to give up. My 20 games in that hellhole this season were not fun. Diamond is about as toxic but atleast the players mostly try to win the games instead of trolling.

No. At least 2 out of 3 games could have been won, he just trolled. It’s not that this was directly the main reason for the defeat, but the little things add up to the big picture. Emerald is such an elo where in order to climb you need to play 100% of what is possible and not make mistakes - because mistakes are already reserved for your teammates. You can troll in gold-platinum, you can troll in diamond, you can troll in challenger but not in emerald. I’m not exactly a strong player myself, I’m a grandmaster peak, but I’m constantly taking accounts into the d2+. And this rule always works, no trolling in emerald. This is elo where the game turns into an absolute clownfiesta because in the same lobby you can meet hardstuck since 2014 gold players who accidentally got the winstreak and former masters who missed split or two.

I swear, people saying that Emerald is not that bad, actually never played in Emerald. You can be best player in the world and you still lose around half of your games just because your team managed to die 12 times in 14 minutes or your team decides that fighting their team in chat is more interesting than fighting enemies in game. People here thinks that they are challenger players while everyone else around them is just a bronze morons and because of it, they think they justifying any ints they do, even running it down purposefully. Best explanation of Emerald elo: You have 4 anchors and all of them fighting who can sink ship faster and the only thing you can do is hope that enemies ship's anchors are heavier than yours.

Hang on, Amumu jungle with Pyke/Ezreal botlane. You can definitely go ap into that. Amumu passive + Abyssal Mask actually works really well if you stack some ap. Also gives ez/pyke easier dmg dealing as enemy should stack a lil more mr

"Warwick has no waveclear, and VERY poor scaling." - Alois While the former is very true, Warwick actually has fantastic scaling due to his immense single target damage that is impossible to itemize against because it's mixed, lots of utility from his W and E, and of course, extreme durability to the point a full crit antiheal Garen can't kill him. Alois should've just said his damage output somewhat falls off because he has no reliable AoE.

@@shinji136 Warwick scales poorly only when it comes to his damage. He's not the kind of champ you play to 1v9 or carry with. He's very useful outside of that. His E can literally soak tons of damage in a teamfight, so even though his damage plummets in that area, he's still useful and can AoE fear since lacking AoE damage is his weakness. In the first match, the Warwick who Alois fought near PERFECTLY mind you, literally ignored Alois in a 39 minute game and focused the Nexus, knowing that he's too tanky for again, a full crit antiheal Garen to kill him. He Qed, held E, and Barriered/Steraked only to make himself even tankier. Damage isn't everything - that's why Warwick is so reliable.

@@torri776 Warwick scales poorly in general. His damage scales badly, and his healing also scales badly because it's all a flat value and he can very easily get one shot at low hp. His E allows him to survive, sure, but once it runs out in a team fight setting he gets destroyed rather quickly. Alois was having such difficulty killing him because Garen is pretty bad at killing high tankiness targets, and Alois' team also had a lack of magic damage. His team was behind so he was forced to match Warwick on side constantly on top of that, rather than fighting 5v5s where he's weakest. Warwick's scaling wasn't the problem in that game, it was Garen having to be the solo carry against a team that has serviceable frontline. Against any moderately okay team comp that isn't super behind, Warwick does close to nothing late game. All his late game utility is being able to get good picks, but even that is conditional on the target being predamaged.

TLDR: Higher ranked player in unranked game get owned by lower rank Normal game for me 1 of my lanes runs it down Yasuo getting rekt by Garen mid. The normal thing to do is accept the fact you lost your lane and work towards lightening the burden you are causing to your team. The Yasuo runs it down a few time and feeds the Garen which RUINS the rest of my team. As a tank Amumu I'm focusing on my clears and I make some successful ganks top & bot. but not mid. Why? Because I lose lane ALL the time top & mid, I know its better to not drag anyone down w/ me. So I'm not saving a drowning man. Yasuo then complains in chat & all chat all game calling us bad. Everyone on the team is typing in chat.... Yasuo starts getting kills on everyone but the Garen & develops an EGO. Even though he is the cause for our biggest issue (Garen) We lose the game.
