Honestly shields are pretty annoying after fighting passive players a few times but they aren’t too hard to deal with since now a lot of characters have instant shield breaking moves.

Literally why, Steven was the ONLY legit character who had shields and they made him even more useless when they made it so everyone can use a defensive mechanism

I was an advocate of saying that MVS will persevere. I played it with passion, i put in a lot of hours and unlocked a lot of characters but i do say, after the added shields, i stopped playing the game. It does NOT work in MVS and is the only reason why i stopped playing. Me personally

The issue with shields is that player first doesnt balance well and takes a while to balance. It wasnt taken account that shields will be added to the bloated pile of dodges, parries, and armor. The game became far too defensive and dragged out. I get in high elo, projectile characters run rampant, but this is the issue of balancing around high elo instead of balancing to make a game good/playable. Now what? We are suppose to wait another year or so for them to balance how much you can avoid fighting? Very poor decision making by player first in a very crucial time for multiversus.
