I have 2019 RX 350 and I love it so much, very comfortable. never have a problem with that. Great car with good price. I would definitely like to change it with the Hybrid soon.

Couple more details. The front seats lay down nearly flat, certainly comfortable enough for occasional overnight camping or road trips 💤😴. Also it will hold 2x4x10s. No joke! A winner all around 👏

Great video. I wanted the RX Hybrid, but it was the height of the Pandemic and I just wanted to get out of the dealership!!! I replaced my beloved 2017 ES 300h in Nebula Grey Pearl with a new 2020 RX 350 AWD in Caviar with 20' wheels. It's AWESOME. Lexus vehicles are just insanely comfortable and they practically eliminate driving stress. As long as you leave enough time to get where you're going, you can just relax the whole way there. That wood trim IS real by the way.

indeed all Toyota Hybrid cvt are different because they are planetary gear boxes.

Can you explain the point of the paddle shifters on the 450h F Sport? Do they work being that its a CVT system? None of the sales people I have asked can answer me. Thanks!

i use them ONLY for engine braking when going a long decline to safe brake pads. But my old one did´nt have paddles it uses the shifter. In the new you can use the shifter or the paddles. I think they were just left from the normal RX350 and they decided to use the same steering wheel or column to reduce parts, makes total sense !

Not the most exciting SUV but reliability is key. Going to replace my older Volvo XC90 V8 this year so may go for the RX450h. I do like the new Volvo XC90 T6 but with both a supercharger and turbo in the small 4 cylinder engine, not sure it will be as reliable. I do also like the BMW X5 and the 2020 Land Rover Defender but I fear reliability in going to be a huge issue with Land Rover. Just wish Lexus would make a LH500 type SUV, test drove the LH500 last summer and really loved it. RX450h I also test drove and it feels a bit sluggish. So what in your opinion would be the best buy if you are looking for a SUV that is both reliable and has good performance and under USD80,000?

Honestly... I’m a huge fan of the Hyundai Palisade at $48,000. For the price it has an incredible feature set. Check our reviews playlist for it. The GV80 will most likely come out in the next couple of years in the US. And that would aggressively compete with the other brands you’ve mentioned. -Hansen.

Should I lease a 2022 RX 450h for $499 with $3999 down and possibly buy it at the end of lease if we like it or should I buy a 2018 RX 450h for $38999 with 51k miles LOADED with panoramic sunroof etc, etc..???

(1) Not much difference between the RX years. (2) These cars are extremely reliable, so not much worry in buying an older model. (3) The Lessor is in business to make money off you. Just buy a car.

i have this model from 2010 now with 260000km.....first battery; nothing wrong so far. bought it with 200000 ! you cant go wrong with a well mantained one.

Very honest review about the outdated interior. Compared to the European competitors, most have switched to all digital displays. This is the main reason why I am holding off from purchasing. Can't justify paying for something that was designed 5 years ago.

i drove these huge digital shit ! In summer or a some angles of lightning or sun i always! had problems with reading or seeing at all my gauges !! My old RX450H from 2010 is still my favourite because its black at back and white big clear readable gauges ....After driving these digital shitboxes i was very happy to be back in good old analog

Adam Wanly Well, you do have a great point but remember, Lexus is a brand that stick with, if ain’t broke, don’t fix it. While the Euro counter part offers a better interior/infotainment system, give it 5 years (maybe even less) and most likely it’s money pit. Not all but most 👍👍👍

Again, waiting on updates to the old reliable RX. Had both Mercedes and BMW in the past 20 years and they are crap (the car horror stories I can tell you all...try $3000 to fix 1 broken led light bulb in the SL550 headlight assembly...) before recently switching to Lexus. Already have the 2020 ES350 with digital display. Just waiting for the updated RX design to fall in line with the most modern design direction of the LS, LC, and ES. Money is not the issue. It's the updated design and reliability we want.

Sinbat, I think and this is my theory that, Lexus is aware that these Germans are crap in the long run so it thinks it can afford to sit on its laurels as they know people will still but their products. I really hope that at least one German brand car becomes so reliable as well that it’ll force Lexus to turn things up another notch 👍👍👍

ok, lets be real with the wood, the wood Lexus use is thinner than a sheet of paper, its real wood, I saw samples in Tokyo's Lexus restaurant (one in NY now). Its really just plastic covered with a super thin sheet of wood.

I would guess a solid piece of wood could shrink and crack eventually, but not a veneer with a stable backing. IOW it's a good thing.

you need to work on your photograph; most of the backgrounds have too much light, which makes watching your video very difficult.
