5 Things I Love about my C30: 5. The rarity. While it can be a pain to repair when needed, since it's 10 years old now, and there weren't that many built to begin with, I like that it's not just another GTI/Focus/Mazda 3. 4. The looks. It's quirky, and love it or hate it for some, but it doesn't look like anything else on the road. 3. The visibility. The visibility in all directions as you're driving around is so much better than so many other cars. You know exactly whether or not you can fit in a space just at a glance. 2. The ride. It's definitely Euro. There's something different about the way European manufacturers tune suspensions from the factory compared to US or Japanese auto makers. Love the ride. 1. The engine/noise. Nothing beats the sound of a turbo 5 cylinder. And the torque available way down low in the power band makes this my favourite grocery getter/commuter. Love the Volvo content on this channel!

best car ever, own a 2011 for a few years now, everything seems to break though, I like to call it play doh car because coming from hondas and toyotas its not as reliable. My favorite engine, interior, and boot of any car.

Dude, had a deer pop out in front of me and smacked it. Was taken back by how easily all the aluminum in the front was destroyed. Make a long story short was easy to repair, including bolt on upper radiator support, Volvo Engineers were thinking there.

Im really starting to like this car a lot i have a volvo S70 turbo with a handfull of mods know but i really want to try the 5 cylinder on a shorter and lighter platform

6- you will have idiots in Lamborghini and Ferraris trying to race you 7 - BMW Volvo rivalry is a thing expect M3’s and M4’s to race you 8- people will take videos and photos of this car at stoplights 9- people in jaguars and Bentley’s will try to buy it from you on the spot 10- these cars are rare you will see more Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s than C30’s 11 - Japanese and Korean car drivers will try and rear end you because they figure you have money because you drive a limited production car This again has been my experience here in Florida with my C30 polestar R design

I love my stock R-Design 2012 petrol. C30 needs a good tyres, then stage 0. After that you should know if that is enough for you or you want to go for stage 1 or stage 2. Regards!

I recently bought a 2008 1.6 Petrol Volvo C30 Sport R-Design and I love it, drives like its on rails and has all the feel of a true sports car, it turns heads when I drive by and evert time I drive it I love it a little bit more, it is thirsty on fuel but having owned several sports bikes in the past I am used to that.., am booked in tomorrow to have 4 Uniroyal Rainsport 5's tyres fitted so I can enjoy it throughout the winter also, was looking to get it remapped but the guy said that because it dosnt have a turbo the difference would be minimal.., what do you recommend as an upgrade?

Are these cars reliable? I'm looking at one in New Jersey. I'm just torn because it has a Ford engine in that.

Obviously the handling is greatly improved with the coil overs, but how does it ride? I’ve heard that the bilsteins handle great, but also ride really well.

The R Design comes with updated suspension as standard, its like driving on rails.

I'm about to buy a used car. I keep going back and forth between a c30 r design, and a nismo juke. Are these cars expensive to fix? This is supposedly the same car as a Mazda 3. I would think that would keep parts cheap.

Similar to the three. A lot of shared parts. Different driveline.

If I get one that is well taken care of, with like 80k miles, do you think it would still be reliable for going out of town from north Carolina to Florida a few times a year? Or is it going to be a money pit? Seems like the newest one I can get is a 2013. :(
