Nara is the city of the deers in Japan and Shika in Shikamaru means deer. That's why he's related to these animals. The way he tricked Hidan is one of the best shot for Shikamaru and show how good a character other than Naruto or Sasuke can be awesome Now it's time for Naruto to shine 👊🏾

@@brandonnina6962 how do you know it wasn't? I'm just assuming, going off the fact that in real time Kakashi says he's mastered it, (meaning Naruto has attempted it before). Tenzo corrects him and says actually he gets it 50% of the time... Then we get the realisation that his arm was wrapped up from testing out Naruto's new jutsu, you could be right but so could I? Unless I missed something but I'm sure it was the rasen shuriken 🤣 either or 🙏🏾

@@samoanfreak3455 because a wind style rasengan and rasenshuriken are visibly two different techniques. If you need further evidence, when Naruto and Yamato show up and do their combo, Naruto literally yells “wind style rasengan” performing the same move he did in kakashi. On top of that later in boruto, konohamaru performs a wind style rasengan which is also visible the same move. A real rasenshuriken would have damaged kakashi’s chakra network and hurt him more.

Sasuke has topnotch efficiency and versatility in combat due to his Sharingan, ninjutsu mastery, kenjutsu, and intelligence and can even boost his stats through his Cursed Seal. Naruto has superior power output and stamina but has little control over it and is still a loose cannon at this point. Overwhelming power is almost useless if the user can't wield it at will and with ease.
