@BuckheadVolvoS4 Thanks for your nice message ! I think so too.
I am currently looking into my second trip to Japan and I am considering going to Koyasan. Many years ago I saw a Dutch man walk the pilgrimage on KZbin and got really inspired! I won't have time to walk the whole thing but I think I'd like to visit Koyasan and maybe stay the night with the monks. Thanks for the video

Hello there ! I think you don't have to finish the 88 pilgrimages in Shikoku at once. Do as much as you can, and if you have a next opportunity, you can go further from there. You can also go around Shikoku 88 pilgrimages sites in many times. Good luck ! 🍊 一期一会: Ichi go ichi ye / Be grateful for this never-to-be-repeated moment. ☺

every one who have stayed in koyasan receives something special from the atmosphere. money never cures our sickness nor agony, but only calmness.

There are people who go to the Shikoku walking pilgrimage five , six or more times. Before I went to the pilgrimage , I did not understand their feelings. I could not understand how come they want to do such a hard and painful work many times. However , after I completed the pilgrimage, I understood their feelings very well. In my 67-years life , the pilgrimage was one of the most wonderful and enjoyable experiance. Ever now, as long as my money and strength of my body, I would like to go to the pilgrimage of Shikoku every year.
Wherever you go,whatever you do,I wish you all the best for you 🙏👋
