Shimano Chronarch Ci4 Upgraded

New Shimano Chronarch Ci4 gets a full upgrade. Inside the drag system, pinion gear and spool shaft all got micro-polished. Then Carbontex drag washers and ABEC7 Ceramic hybrid bearings were installed. Outside the reels getting a carbon fiber handle with aluminum knobs. Red accents on handle as well as the tension knob and line guide components. Lastly a offset aluminum thumb bar is installed.

I'm buying a chronarch CI4+ and that's a sick upgrade you done there well done. What I'm getting at is. Is it a good reel stock is it worth the 200$

absolutely it is. for $25 throw in a set ceramic hybrid bearings and its even more fantastical.

including handle, boca bearings and the drag washer upgrade....Just under 260 for parts alone. Then add shipping of parts from Japan and money for me. Right around $300. You save a chunk of that by doing away with the handle.

I see on the schematic of the curado i , it has 3 bearings on the spool ? so do all 3 need to be upgraded or just the 2 that are the same size ? thank you for your time.

just the 2 that are the same size. the 3rd bearing you are referring to is part of the X-ship in the reel. Its basically a pinion gear carrier bearing. It does spin when you cast.

inside or out I can get them. to do yourself the drag washers are at BIG GREEN FISH, the bearings are at BOCA BEARING of FLORIDA and the cosmetic parts are at HEDGE HOG STUDI of JAPAN.
