I've never understood the clutch bar, as Shimano calls the thumb bar, chain of action. When the bar is up, the spool won't move in either direction, but when pressed it will. What's the interplay of parts from the thumb bar?

How do you get the clutch button assembly off of the reel to replace it?

I bought a used Curado and the spool tension knob doesn’t appear to be cross threaded but it’s hard to adjust the tension and it seems like it bottoms out? You really have to tighten it on heavier baits. Any suggestions?

@@kennylowe9404 I'd look real close on it being cross threaded. It can be missing the little carbon shim inside of the cap, but if that's not missing, it's probably cross threaded

The one I have is a 750mL. I would suggest a 1L to fully submerge the reel frame, like this one (ad) amzn.to/48nvfuU This is the purple power (ad) amzn.to/48nvfuU
