Good work bro i have the same reel and i always add grease on it after 4 or 5 fishings time but when added oil i find out double speed and smoothness but more resistance between pinion and gear and all ⚙️ there... which is better grease or oil ? Or grease nd some tears or of oil will be better ?

Thanks for watching. Glad to hear you stay on top of maintaining your reel. I would imagine if you feel more speed and smoothness with oil, then there will also be less resistance. I prefer the grease the gears, but if you like oil, you could probably use something like inox or the Shimano oil.

My Sustain has been dunked many times in salt as i fish 4-5 days a week. I do nothing to the reel nor do I even rinse and the reel has performed perfectly for over 3 years. Thats why I use higher end Shimano.

Thanks for watching! Sounds like something a charter captain would do. Then I get it when it breaks, and it's futile... everything's frozen, corroded and needs to be replaced... better off buying a new reel.
