First thing you said was we removed the sliding reel seat and removed the counterbalance weights... you didnt say why you removed them. When you brought them out you expained how great they were... now you have removed them. least you could do is say why

I love the rod but still a bit disappointed that they removed the X wrap handle.

the biggest mistake shimano made was removing the sliding reel seat, i like to determine whether i want to fish low/mid or high mount.....u removed that feature shimano = fail bring it back. i have a 13 ft model in the 10/20 kg and a 15/25kg class and they haul big baits n lead here in western australia in tough country. i should post some pics one day to show the terrain we fish in, tough rocky reef with swell and we walk it

NawYouDoIt . It cost me $299.00 they didn't have the 11 footer so I bought the 12 footer . The pole is light . I bought the penn spent fisher 7500 long cast to use with it but the reel is too heavy for the pole . It do cast very very far but the reel is too heavy for the pole . I just order the Diawa Bg 5000 to use with the rod . I think the 5000 would be much better .

reuben king you can get rods in Australia that r better then this man zenaq, ripple fisher, outer reef, FCL man I only wish we had those in Hawaii
