The channel owner pointed at it already, and he is 100% correct: Don't buy the TZ version! The shifting is pretty sloppy, the limiters and indexing are not very precise, and it has to be re-adjusted more frequently than the others. Even with budget constraints buy at least a TY500. There is a reason why it costs almost double. But better even, if possible buy an Acera or Altus. You will be rewarded by crisper, more instant shifting, and the higher price will pay back by longer lifespan. These are very reasonable choices, above that level it's more bling bling.

Negligible weight difference. For 8s people proceed with TX800 and for 7s they proceed with TY500. Thats what I have understood.

Depends on the freewheel teeth for megarange TZ500 is good for 28T max cog TY300/TY500 is best. for future upgrade TX800 is best.
